A substantial Italian sideboard produced by Mobil Girgi during the 1970s, defined by its warm walnut construction, strong geometric proportions and beautifully considered detailing.

The long, architectural form is softened by rounded edges and cylindrical feet, while the richly figured walnut brings depth and warmth to the piece. A symmetrical façade combines generous cupboard storage with four central drawers, creating a practical piece that remains visually balanced and sculptural. Similar Mobil Girgi sideboards from this period are associated with the work of Italian architect and designer Mario Marenco.

Characteristic of Mobil Girgi's 1970s production, the sideboard combines substantial construction with refined Italian craftsmanship. The projecting top and layered façade give the piece an almost architectural quality, while the variation in the walnut grain emphasises each individual section of the cabinet.

Its generous proportions make it equally suited as a traditional sideboard, media console or statement storage piece, with a particularly strong presence when viewed from the front.
